Holbæk Kommune: Data – also for the political layer

‘We have chosen to work with RoomAlyzer because we want to focus on the indoor climate and give employees the best conditions. But we want to back it up with data so that we don’t base our efforts solely on the feelings and emotions of the people in our premises. We’ve already had a case with an administration building where we had received enquiries with suspicions that there might be too much CO2. When we measured it, we realised that this was not the case, and we were able to close the case in a good way.

On the other hand, we also have buildings where there is room for improvement, and here it’s not just about showing the employees data, but also about making our politicians aware of the indoor climate in schools, for example. They don’t spend their daily lives in classrooms, and that’s where we can use data to raise indoor climate issues at a political level. The best thing would be if we could renovate all buildings and install mechanical ventilation everywhere, but we also have to stick to budgets, and RoomAlyzer helps us prioritise where we need to focus first.’
